LUCY - PERFORMANCE COACH
As an Australian representative athlete, personal trainer and mother of two, Lucy brings a range of experience to the Romero Athletics team.
Whilst competing in Track Cycling, Lucy trained regularly in the gym with top-tier athletes and coaches for many years, and this is where she discovered her love of strength training and coaching. To pursue a career in this field, Lucy completed a Bachelor of Coaching Science degree, followed by a 6-month internship at the ACT Academy of Sport - Strength and Conditioning gym.
Lucy also worked at the Australian Institute of Sport, and after gaining her Certificate III and IV in Fitness, was a personal trainer alongside Alan Romero at Elite Physique. This is also when Lucy competed in Natural Bodybuilding and won the title of ACT Champion and 4th at the National Championships.
Lucy has completed qualifications in pre and post-natal exercise, and after returning to lifting following pregnancy and childbirth, she understands that it can be quite a journey and has a keen interest in helping women return to training safely.

Lucy is a huge advocate for strength training, not just for athletes who want to improve their sports performance, but also everyday people who just want to feel better, stronger and more balanced.
Coaching someone to achieve their personal goals is just as rewarding for her as achieving her own goals.
